Summer
Make the most of your stay.
Enjoy the space.
The house and private woodland offer plenty of space for large parties of families and friends.
Feel the sun on your back.
Summer temperatures hit 26*C / 78 F, and it’s when the lake really comes alive.
Get out on the water.
Enjoy a host of lake activities, from swimming, canoeing and paddle-boarding to waterskiing, sunbathing and tubing.
Make the most of the view.
And do them all on a cut-glass lake with a jaw-dropping view.
Hike.
The Appalachian Trail (pictured) is 40 minutes away and offers excellent hiking.
For a more local adventure, climb Pico Point for a view over the lake, and enjoy other local hiking trails.
Get close to nature.
The lake is home to a range of majestic animals, from prehistoric loons, to bald eagles. Moose and deer roam the woods while otters play on the shore and ducks tour the lake.
Take a boat.
Motor boats, kayaks, canoes and jet skis can be rented locally. Please enquire for details.
Or a pew.
Hammocks and chairs on the lake facing balconies give a relaxing viewpoint for all the activities.
The deck behind the house is a delicious sun-trap for afternoon sun.
“We stayed for Labor Day weekend and within days of returning home we booked a week for a family gathering in 2018!”
